Web Design A Rocky Web Home Page

The methods that you use to let people know about your site usually depend on your budget and your target audience.

Having your site indexed by search engines and directories is a very effective way to be found. Registering your site can be as easy as filling in your URL or possibly a couple of pages of info. You can even register "doorway" pages for your site that are optimized for each search engine. You also might have to register again if your results start slipping but some Engines do not like you registering again.

There are services for free "banner trades" or you can spend thousands of dollars a week to have your banner appear on popular web sites.

Always remember to put your URL on everything to do with your company; business cards, invoices, vehicles, yellow pages, etc. This is the best way to help your local market find your site. Internationally you can have magazine ads, bulk mailings, catalogs, etc.
