Squirrel Nut Zippers

The Zippers have a very unique style. Their songs have an “old” sound created by a wide variety of instruments, interesting lyrics, and great vocals by various members of the band including the very individual sound of Katherine Whalen. This band definitely stands out from the rest of the swing projects out there. I enjoy the 3 albums I have; Perennial Favorites, Hot!, and The Inevitable Squirrel Nut Zippers.
